Connect a writing assistant

1. Create or sign in to your Script&Sprite account. If access is pending, request approval from the waitlist page.
2. Open the novel you want to work on in the editor.
3. In your assistant’s MCP connection settings, enter https://privacybyai.com/api/mcp and choose OAuth. The server supports dynamic client registration and S256 PKCE.
4. Sign in on privacybyai.com, review the connecting app and destination, then choose Allow access. Never paste your website password or an admin token into a chat.

Read access shares the open novel’s text and requested artwork. Write access can change or delete its scenes and assets. Save a project export before extensive changes. Only connect assistants you trust.

See edits in the editor

Assistant edits save to the same open novel that the editor loads. Use Settings → MCP & Developer → Reload from Account to bring new edits into an already-open tab. If the editor warns that the saved story changed elsewhere, reload before continuing; forcing an older tab to save can overwrite newer work.

Disconnect or reconnect

Visit Connected assistants to revoke a link. A connection lasts at most 30 days and may need to be renewed sooner after password recovery, account changes or a token-reuse warning. Start linking again from the assistant if a consent screen expires.

Older token-based MCP connections use the editor’s separate token settings. The public plugin uses OAuth and does not expose owner-only source tools.

Contact support or request deletion

Use our contact form and choose “Script&Sprite support” or “Privacy or deletion request”. Include your account email, the page or tool involved and what happened. Leave out passwords, tokens and confidential story content. Your message is saved to the owner’s private inbox.

About the plugin

Script&Sprite helps you read, write and organise visual novels using the assets and story you choose. It does not browse arbitrary websites, publish your novel, access other people’s accounts, or operate the owner’s administration tools. Any directory listing remains subject to the platform’s review and availability.
